This great set of videos were taken when I snorkelled from the beach at the St Lucian Island resort called East Winds. The beach is on the East coast which means it is very flat and safe to snorkel for all ages.
There is very little current and even a beginner snorkeler can see a lot. I went to both the left and right sides of the beach. Best advice is to go out direct in the middle, then cut across to avoid the lower rocks.
If you go right past to half way towards Windjammer resort the fish are not as scared. Also you can go right to the headland to the left and see some amazing baby urchins and better undisturbed coral.
